TYPE
White cement adhesive with fibers , class C2TES1
SCOPE OF APPLICATION
Due to the increased contents of polymeric components, GOLD is used to lay different types of tiles, including tiles of low-absorbing surface. Suitable to lay big-scale slabs, to stick on old faience and terracotta coatings, as well as for floors with integrated floor heating. For dry, humid and durably wet areas. Suitable for laying coatings exposed to outdoor conditions. Resistant to freezing, wetting and heating and sunshine impacts.
PROPERTIES
- For both outdoor and indoor use
- High adhesion to low-absorbing surfaces
- Frost resistant
- High load resistance
- Does not affects the tile color
- Water impermeable
- Easy to mix
- Environmentally friendly product
Previous treatment of the ground
The ground must be dry, hard, and well-cleaned from pollutions: dist, greasy spots, etc. To lay the tiles tightly without gaps is not recommended. To lay the tiles tightly without gaps is not recommended. To previously apply DENEL PRIME COAT in case of a very weak and porous substrate.
MIXTURE PREPARATION
A pack of 25 kg is mixed with 5,5 liters of water. . The dry mix mist be stirred with water in a plastic recipient using mechanical stirrer, or manually. Then, the mixture is left for some 10 minutes, and then it is re-stirred again and, if necessary, some water is added. The so prepared mixture can be used within 1 hour.
APPLICATION
The mortar is then applied to the substrate using a notched trowel. An area which can be tiled in 15 minutes approximately must be covered. To apply on old terracotta, latter must be obligatorily treated by a thin layer (using a 3-mm notched trowel) of GOLD serving as a cohesive layer.
The application must take place on dry substrate and at a temperature between 5°С and 30°С.
RECOMMENDATION
Addition of other materials to the ready mortar is inadmissible.
