ART CONCRETE DECORATIVE PLASTER

TYPE: Specific decorative cement plaster.

SCOPE OF APPLICATION: Natural mineral plaster for the purposes of different decorative effects, depending on the laying techniques. For both interior and exterior application.

PREPARATION OF SUBSTRATE

Before laying, the surface must be dry, hard and free from dist, greasy stains and unbound particles. In case of porous grounds and heterogeneously-structured grounds, they must be treated by DENEL GROUND.

PREPARATION OF MIXTURE

One package of 25 is to be stirred in 5.5 liters of water.  In a deep container of smooth walls, the exact quality of water necessary for one package is to be poured, the dry mixture is then added in portions, and stirred until the mixture becomes homogeneous. The so prepared mixture must be left to repose for about 10 minutes and then it has to be stirred again and it will be ready for laying.

LAYING

The mixture must be laid using metal mortar-board on the substrate, in several layers.  The surface is to be structured using different tools to achieve the desired decorative effect. After drying, ProGLAZES tinted transparent latex is to be additionally laid and rubbed through by a plastic/rubber blade or sponge.

RECOMMENDATIONS

Laying must take place on dry substrate and temperature range between 5 and 30oC. After use, wash the tools with water. Addition of other materials is inadmissible.

CONSUMPTION RATE:

Approx. 1.6 kg of dry mixture per 1 m² and 1 mm of thickness.
